Hotel Winneshiek is proud to provide guests with a historic elegance that is unmatched in the area. We offer beautiful spaces ideal for your events. From business meetings for twelve or a two hundred fifty guest storybook wedding, we have the space that will be the perfect fit for you.

Bring in your favorite licensed caterer. Hotel Winneshiek will provide tables, chairs and linens, along with a serving kitchen for your caterer, including dinnerware and glassware.

Opera House

This former opera house is Hotel Winneshiek’s most grand space which features its original tin walls and ceiling, wraparound balcony/mezzanine level and dramatic stage, a true elegant setting. Easily accommodating up to two hundred fifty guests for a catered event and standing room for up to three hundred guests. The Opera House offers nearly three thousand square feet of usable space and custom configurations to match the requirements for your event.

Winneshiek Meeting Room

Our meeting room offers the perfect blend of elegance and functionality. The Winneshiek Meeting Room has seating space for up to one hundred twenty-five guests with our nearly 1,800 square feet of space which can be custom configured to your needs. The room can be divided into two smaller spaces for smaller groups of up to sixty people.

Hotel Winneshiek Lobby

Hotel Winneshiek’s grand three-story lobby features beautiful woodwork, stained glass skylights, period lighting, terrazzo floors and a marble fireplace. The lobby is available for rent as a pre-function space or as a standalone venue for ceremonies, guest registration, cocktail parties and more.
