Fees and Policies
Registered guests must be at least twenty-one years old and have identification.
Cancellation & Reservation Policies:
Cancellation deadline for cancelling Sunday - Thursday is 4pm on the day of arrival, for weekends a 24 hour’s notice is required, and 72 hours on special event weeks.
Minimum Stay Requirements:
Some Saturday nights stays and some special event weekends require a 2 night minimum stays. If a reservation is made over a weekend or event period in which a minimum stay is required, the reservation will not be able to be changed to less than the minimum number of nights required. Please call the hotel directly for details.
Room Rates and Tax information:
All rates are for up to 2 guests per room or suite. Additional adults are billed at $10.00 per night plus tax. 12 % sales and lodging tax applies to all guest room rates and packages. Roll-away beds are available in some rooms. The maximum number of guests per room is 4.
Credit Card Policy
The Hotel Winneshiek accepts the following credit cards: American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.
Check-in and Checkout Times
Check-in - 3 p.m. Checkout - 11 a.m.
Children Policy
Children, 16 years and under, always stay free with an adult, when using existing bedding.
Smoking Policy
All 31 guest rooms and public areas are non-smoking. Violators will be assessed a $100.00 cleaning fee and possible eviction.
Travel Agent Commissions
Rates available via our online reservations or by calling the hotel. As we are an independent hotel, Travel Agents are required to bill the hotel directly following a guest stay for commissions to be paid.
The Hotel Winneshiek will not tolerate any consumption of alcohol by individuals under the legal drinking age and strictly prohibit any use of illegal substance.
